It's hard to believe that Bonnie's visit is coming to a close. We have just today, Monday and Tuesday before she flies back to S. Dakota. To say the least, it has been action packed, and yesterday, although not quite so hectic, was another fun day.
Lunch at my flat, somewhat more simple than the amazing meal at Jane Carter's the day before. I always say with my cooking, it will either be good or awful, not much in between, and somehow yesterday's, turned out to be good
A sort of stir fry to begin with (yes it's all rather creative) and then my fast becoming famous fruit crumble, which seems to be a hit with everyone.

After roping Bonnie in to watch 'Strictly Come Dancing' with me - oh yes, I do enjoy it, we then had a much needed early night.
Today the plan is to take a boat from Hampton Court Palace to, I am not sure where. Will report tomorrow.
Meanwhile another kitty kat exercise for those wanting to be creative.
I showed a similar one the other day....note the original sketches in my little sketch book....The cat had moved slightly thus changing everything. Animals are great to observe and record as they are always moving...which keeps us on our toes!

First marks
I am using a mix of burt sienna and prussian blue, and am working on dry white paper.
You can use any colours and work off newspaper, envelopes or wall paper lining to experiement and play.

In the final frame I add some cadmium orange.

Another absolutely beautiful day in London.

It must be the last week of the River Boats.
Vanessa and I had a wonderful journey a few years ago in the last week in September in the evening, from Hampton Court to Kingston. We were the only passengers, and the captain, pleasantly tipsy, dropped off one member of his crew near his home before we arrived...
Hope your captain is sober!
